As every year, we propose to old and young to enjoy in family or between friends the research of colored eggs in the Parc in order to get a chocolate eggs packet at the end of their visit.

The 23rd of April:
Month of “Bird for Human”.

In order to accompany the launching of the film Nicostratos (29th of June) in which 8 of our Great White Pelicans have been filmed, the Parc offers comprehension keys on the many relations between Bird and Human for centuries through the Arts, the Religions, the Economy. Conferences, expositions and animations… will take place.

The 11th of June: Departure-place of Criterium du Dauphiné

For the first time, Parc des Oiseaux welcomes one of the largest international cycle stage races. The last preparation cycle race before Tour de France.

The 16th, 17th and 18th of June: “Musicales” in Parc des Oiseaux
After Vincent DELERM and Jacques HIGELIN, Parc des Oiseaux will welcome during its « Musicales » two well-known artists : William SHELLER the 16th and the 17th and Craig ADAMS, the famous Gospel singer, the 18th.
The Parc propose an exceptional music program, which places it as a reference musical scene in the Ain.

Tariffs for William SHELLER concert:
- 39€ (class 1) – free placement
- 36€ (class 2) – free placement

Tariffs for Craig Adams concert:
- 32€ (all seats) – free placement

You can with your ticket visit the Parc from 18:00 the day of the concert or by presenting this ticket at the reception the day of the concert + 1€, you can visit the Parc the whole day.

A catering service will be proposed at La Roselière located at the entrance of the show place. A large range of products, from the complete meal at 18€ to a sandwich, will be proposed to the spectators.

Parc’s subscribers benefit of special rates, which means 35€ (class 1) or 32€ (class 2) for William SHELLER concert and 28€ for Craig ADAMS.

The 29th of June: Launching of the film Nicostratos

After a partnership for the film “Le Peuple Migrateur” some years ago, 8 Great white Pelicans of Parc des Oiseaux have come back to cinema in appearing into the film “Nicostratos” producted by Olivier Horlait. This friendship story between a young boy and a pelican has been inspired by the novel of Eric Boisset “Nicostratos” (Magnard Editions).

An outstanding casting was recruited for this production, with as main actors Emir Kusturica, the young Thibalt Le Guellec et Xavier François Demaison, without forgetting the stars of Parc des Oiseaux that have become our 8 pelicans.

The 8th – 9th – 10th and 15th-16th-17th of July :
The Association “Reflets de la Dombes” presents its new show: Ciconia.
This story in mid-air invites the spectator to have him guide by imaginary and the amazing meetings of a young boy.

The 11th of August : “Nature” stage of Tour de l’Ain 2011

Parc des Oiseaux follows its race near the organization of the Tour de l’Ain and will welcome on the 11th of August the departure of the 2nd stage of 2011 edition.
