The park is closed for the winter.
Reopening planned on March 31st.
From a lofty height of 27 metres (81ft), like a crow’s nest, the Panoramic Tower was the first completed part of this project, which will continue to add new spaces. Perfectly placed in the centre of the park, and fitted-out like a treehouse decked with steel walkways, this is the ideal vantage point for watching the birds as they flit through their mythical playground: the sky…
This innovation is part of Project Five (2016 – 2020), which seeks to consolidate the park’s position as the main tourist attraction in Ain, located in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region.
“During the dizzying, fascinating, vertical climb, you get a view of the birds from above. 15–20m above ground, the viewing platforms raise you above the canopy to discover and absorb the singularities of the local ecosystem. The Tower emerges from the treetops, giving you a spectacularly stark change of scenery – a bird’s eye view of an ocean of greenery.
The ultimate reward for your efforts is the magnificent spectacle that unfolds before your very eyes: your gaze floats over the infinite space and landscapes of the Dombes, accentuated by Mont Blanc. You become one with the landscape, with the birds and with nature, in a timeless voyage from the earth to the sky.
It would seem as though time stops for the communion of man, bird and land. With your head in the clouds and your feet firmly on the Dombes earth, you will go through different emotions on each level of the Tower.”
